Receive and clearly call out incoming orders (KOTs) to kitchen staff.
- Ensure all kitchen sections are informed of orders promptly.
- Monitor order preparation time and prioritize based on urgency.
- Coordinate with chefs to ensure all items in an order are ready together.
- Check completed dishes for accuracy, presentation, and completeness before dispatch.
- Communicate with service staff regarding order readiness and delays.
- Maintain proper sequence of orders to avoid confusion during peak hours.
- Assist in expediting food during busy service periods.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pass/dispatch area.
- Support the kitchen team in smooth workflow and reduce service delays.
