Role Overview
The Sports Teacher will be responsible for promoting physical fitness, sportsmanship, and overall well-being among students. The role includes training students in various sports, organizing activities, and preparing them for competitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct Physical Education (PE) classes for students
- Train students in indoor and outdoor sports (Cricket, Football, Athletics, etc.)
- Organize sports events, annual sports day, and competitions
- Identify and nurture talented students for inter-school competitions
- Ensure student safety during sports activities
- Maintain sports equipment and playground facilities
- Promote fitness, discipline, and teamwork among students
- Collaborate with staff for school events and activities
Skills Required :
- Strong knowledge of sports and physical education
- Coaching and training skills
- Good communication and student management skills
- Leadership and teamwork abilities
Qualifications
- B.P.Ed. / M.P.Ed. (Mandatory/Preferred)
- Any Graduate (preferred)
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience as a Sports/PE Teacher preferred
Other Requirements
- Good communication skills
- Passion for sports and student development
