A telecaller is responsible for initiating or receiving phone calls to connect with customers, promoting products/services, generating leads, and resolving inquiries. They work in sales or customer support, aiming to meet daily, weekly, or monthly targets. Key skills include excellent verbal communication, persuasion, and CRM database management.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Outbound/Inbound Calling : Making calls to prospective/existing customers and handling incoming inquiries.
- Sales & Lead Generation : Explaining product features, benefits, and pricing to persuade customers to make purchases or schedule appointments.
- Customer Service : Addressing customer concerns, complaints, and providing solutions.
- Data Maintenance : Updating and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions in a CRM system.
- Following Up :



Reaching out to leads and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Script Adherence : Following established scripts to provide consistent information.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Communication : Excellent verbal communication, listening, and telephone etiquette.
- Education : High school diploma or equivalent, though some roles prefer a bachelor's degree.
- Technical Skills : Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, data entry) and familiarity with CRM software.
- Attributes : Persuasive, confident, patient, and capable of handling rejection.
- Experience : Previous experience in telesales, telemarketing, or customer service is preferred but not always required
