- Collect food orders from the kitchen, restaurant, or dispatch center.
- Verify order details, quantity, packaging, and delivery address before leaving.
- Timely Delivery :
- Deliver food orders safely and within the promised delivery time.
- Follow assigned delivery routes efficiently to minimize delays.
- Food Safety & Hygiene :
- Maintain cleanliness of delivery bags and equipment.
- Handle food carefully to prevent spillage, damage, or contamination.
- Follow company food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Customer Service :
- Greet customers politely and professionally.
- Ensure smooth handover of orders.
- Address basic customer queries and report complaints to the supervisor.
- Payment Collection :
- Collect cash, UPI, card, or other payments when applicable.
- Submit collected payments and maintain accurate records.
- Order Verification :
- Confirm customer identity and delivery location before handing over the order.
- Obtain proof of delivery when required.
- Communication :
- Maintain regular communication with dispatch, kitchen, and management.
- Inform the team immediately about delays, vehicle issues, or customer concerns.
- Vehicle Maintenance :
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean and in good working condition.
- Ensure valid driving license, insurance, and vehicle documents are available.
- Report maintenance requirements promptly.
- Compliance & Safety :
- Follow all traffic rules and road safety regulations.
- Wear company uniform, helmet, and identification card during duty.
- Maintain qualified conduct while representing the company.
- Company Asset Care :
- Safeguard company-provided items such as delivery bags, mobile devices, uniforms, and vehicles.
- Return all company assets upon termination of employment.
Additional Duties
- Assist with packaging and dispatch activities during non-delivery periods.
- Support promotional activities and leaflet distribution when assigned.
- Perform other delivery-related duties as directed by management.
