Role Overview: The Admission Counselor will be responsible for managing the end-to-end admission process for students (Grades 1-12), including handling parent inquiries, counseling prospective families, and ensuring smooth enrollment. The role requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to achieve admission targets.

Key Responsibilities: Counsel parents and students regarding curriculum, facilities, and school offerings

Explain admission procedures, fee structure, and policies clearly

Conduct school tours and presentations for prospective parents

Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into admissions

Maintain and update admission records, databases, and reports

Coordinate with academic and administrative teams during admission cycles

Organize admission drives, events, and promotional activities

Ensure excellent parent experience throughout the admission process

Achieve monthly/annual admission targets

Required Skills & Competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong convincing and negotiation ability





Customer-centric approach with a pleasant personality

Good organizational and follow-up skills

Basic knowledge of MS Office / CRM tools

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline (Education background preferred)

MBA / PGDM in Marketing or HR is an added advantage

Experience : 1-5 years of experience in admissions, counseling, sales, or customer service

Prior experience in schools/educational institutions preferred
