Academic Counsellor (Onsite - Full Time)

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Academic Counsellor to join our team. In this role, you will interact with prospective learners, understand their needs, and guide them in choosing suitable courses. You will also support enrolment and coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth learner experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Management & Conversion

- Handle inbound and outbound calls to prospective learners.
- Understand learner requirements and recommend suitable programs.
- Schedule centre visits and trial sessions.
- Maintain regular follow-ups to support enrolment conversion.
- Update and manage lead data in CRM tools.

2. Learner Support & Coordination

- Assist walk-in learners with course selection and batch scheduling.
- Coordinate with trainers regarding schedules and availability.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new learners.

Required Skills : Communication Skills





- Proficiency in Tamil and English (spoken and written).

Customer Handling

- Ability to engage with customers and understand their requirements.
- Robust interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Organizational Skills

- Ability to manage multiple leads and schedules efficiently.
- Good time management and coordination skills.

Technical Skills

- Basic knowledge of CRM tools.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar).

Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, counselling, or customer-facing roles.
- Experience in education, ed-tech, or service industry is an added advantage.

Work Schedule

- Tuesday to Saturday: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- Sunday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Weekly Off: Monday

Work Location

Chennai, Tamil Nadu (In-person role)

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
