A Trainee Bartender assists in bar operations while learning the preparation of beverages, customer service, and bar management. The role focuses on developing skills under the supervision of senior bartenders.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Learn standard drink recipes and presentation techniques
- Support in bar setup (glassware, garnishes, stock arrangement)
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar area
- Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels
- Assist senior bartenders during service hours
- Follow safety, hygiene, and legal regulations
- Handle basic guest interactions politely
Skills & Requirements
- Basic knowledge of beverages (preferred)
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Teamwork and coordination
- Attention to detail
Qualification
- Minimum: High school / diploma
- Hospitality training or certification (preferred)
