Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Carrier Procurement & Negotiation : Source, vet, and negotiate rates with reliable carriers to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of shipments.
- Margin Management : Prioritize gross margin health over pure volume by utilizing real-time spot market data and pricing discipline.
- Shipment Lifecycle Management : Oversee the entire shipment process, from dispatch to delivery, ensuring all documentation (BOL, Proof of Delivery) is accurate and compliant.
- Customer & Carrier Relations : Build and maintain long-term relationships with US-based shippers and transportation partners to secure consistent capacity.
- Fraud Prevention & Compliance : Conduct rigorous carrier vetting and compliance checks to mitigate risks associated with double-brokering and cargo theft.
- Problem Resolution : Proactively address transit delays, equipment failures, or logístical bottlenecks to maintain high service levels.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience : 1-5 years of experience in US Freight Brokerage or Third-Party Logistics (3PL). Freshers with exceptional communication skills may be considered for Trainee roles.
- Communication : Fluent in English with a neutral or US-focused accent; ability to negotiate firmly and professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Technical Proficiency : Skilled in using TMS platforms (e.g., McLeod, Aljex) and load boards (DAT, Truckstop).
- Market Knowledge : Solid understanding of US geography, freight lanes, equipment types (Reefer, Dry Van, Flatbed), and current market trends.
Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
