We are looking for a customer-focused Salesman to assist customers in selecting fabrics, explain tailoring options, take measurements (basic understanding), generate sales, and ensure an excellent shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
- Welcome customers and understand their clothing requirements.
- Recommend suitable fabrics, designs, and tailoring options.
- Promote premium fabrics, custom tailoring services, and accessories.
- Achieve monthly sales targets.
- Build long-term relationships with customers and encourage repeat business.
Fabric Knowledge
- Explain fabric quality, composition, and suitability for different garments.
- Assist customers in selecting shirting, suiting, trousers, kurta, and ethnic wear fabrics.
- Suggest matching linings, buttons, collars, cuffs, and other customization options.
Tailoring Coordination
- Coordinate customer requirements with the tailoring team.
- Ensure customer measurements and order details are correctly recorded.
- Follow up on delivery schedules and alterations.
Billing & Store Operations
- Prepare quotations and assist in billing.
- Maintain stock displays and fabric shelves.
- Ensure store cleanliness and attractive merchandising.
- Support inventory counting and stock management.
Required Skills :
- Strong communication and selling skills.
- Knowledge of fabrics and men's fashion preferred.
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide styling suggestions.
- Basic computer and billing software knowledge.
- Positive attitude and skilled appearance.
