This role sits at the centre of market execution—working closely with procurement and operations to ensure demand and supply move in sync. If you’re hungry to grow, comfortable talking to customers, and want real responsibility early on, this role will stretch you in the right way.

What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

As a Sales Associate - Agri Produce & Commodities , you will:

- Identify and onboard buyers/customers for fresh produce and agri commodities.
- Manage day-to-day sales execution based on available supply and demand requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular interaction and follow-ups.
- Coordinate closely with procurement and operations teams to align demand with sourcing and delivery.
- Negotiate pricing, volumes, and delivery terms with customers.
- Track daily sales volumes, pricing, margins, and customer performance.
- Handle customer queries, feedback, and issue resolution to ensure smooth transactions.
- Support the scale-up of ARL’s sales operations as volumes and customer base grow.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role . You’ll be close to customers, numbers, and real business outcomes.

Who We’re Looking For

- 2-4 years of experience in sales or business development for agri produce, commodities,



or related sectors. :

- Prior experience with companies such as Ninjacart, WayCool, BigBasket , or similar agri supply-chain / aggregation platforms is a strong plus.

- Strong understanding of fresh produce or agri commodity sales dynamics and pricing.

- Comfortable interacting with customers, negotiating, and closing deals.

- Spoken Language "Kannada" is a must. :

- Someone who enjoys targets, accountability, and growing with responsibility.

- Entrepreneurial mindset with robust ownership orientation.

Probation & Performance Review

This role will begin with a 3-month probation period .

Confirmation into a full-time permanent role will be based on performance during this period, with potential upside through higher pay or performance-linked incentives.

Probation period performance will be evaluated transparently and objectively on:

- Sales execution and consistency
- Revenue and volume achievement
- Pricing discipline and margin awareness
- Customer relationship management
- Coordination with procurement and operations
- Work ethic, learning mindset, and ownership
