Job Description: The Sales Representative will be responsible for building Gappu’s presence in the south India region based out of Chennai. This role offers an environment to learn, practice, challenge, and establish a strong foundation that’s invaluable to your career. The focus is on supporting our sales teams with more leads, more closed deals, and more revenue. This role is for someone who can sell face-to face, travel, and make things happen without constant supervision.

About Gappu: Gappu is an emerging lifestyle instruments brand with a world class range of percussion instruments crafted with care for unmatched sound and durability as seen on Shark Tank Season 5.

What will you do:

- Visit music stores, retailers, and partners and pitch our products and close orders
- Build and maintain relationships with dealers and distributors
- Travel across cities/towns (Chennai, Bangalore, Kerela regions)
- Ensure products are displayed and sold at partner stores
- Coordinate with our team for logistics and follow-ups
- Continuously look for current opportunities to grow sales

Requirements :

- Based in Chennai/ Bangalore /Kerala
- High school graduate or above
- Must be able to travel regularly
- Coordination over call and Google Sheets
- Prior experience in sales / distribution is a plus
- Existing retailer/distributor connects and understanding of local markets will give you an advantage
