The Hostel Warden is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the school hostel and ensuring the safety, discipline, welfare, and overall well-being of students residing in the hostel. The warden creates a secure, supportive, and disciplined residential environment that promotes students’ academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise students residing in the hostel and maintain discipline according to school policies.
- Ensure the safety, security, hygiene, and cleanliness of hostel premises.
- Monitor students’ attendance, study hours, meals, and daily routines.
- Handle student concerns, conflicts, emergencies, and behavioral issues with care and professionalism.
- Coordinate with teachers, parents, medical staff, and school administration regarding student welfare.




- Maintain hostel records including attendance, leave registers, medical records, and incident reports.
- Organize hostel activities, recreational programs, and counseling support when needed.
- Oversee hostel staff such as caretakers, cooks, cleaners, and security personnel.
- Ensure proper maintenance of hostel facilities and report repair or maintenance needs.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms, dining areas, and common spaces.
- Implement health and safety standards, including emergency procedures and first aid arrangements.
