Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor live CCTV camera feeds continuously from the control room.
- Operate and manage DVR, NVR, IP cameras, analog cameras, and recording systems .
- Detect and report suspicious activities, security breaches, or unauthorized access immediately.
- Maintain daily CCTV observation and incident logs.
- Retrieve and export video footage as required by school authorities or management.
- Ensure proper recording and storage of surveillance data.
- Coordinate with school administration and security guards during emergencies.
- Check camera health status (online/offline), storage capacity, and recording quality.
- Report faults or malfunction of cameras, cables, or recording systems to technical support.
- Maintain confidentiality of surveillance footage and security operations.
- Assist during investigations by providing footage backups when required.

Required Skills & Knowledge

- Hands-on experience in CCTV surveillance monitoring .
- Knowledge of NVR, DVR configuration, IP cameras, network cabling, and basic networking .
- Ability to identify unusual behavior or security threats.
- Basic computer operation (Windows,



file storage, video backup).
- Familiar with video playback, recording export, and timestamp search.
- Good observation skills and alertness.
- Ability to work in shifts (including school hours/extended hours if required).

Educational Qualification

- Minimum :Higher Secondary (10+2) pass :

- CCTV/Surveillance or Security System certification preferred.

Experience Requirement

- Minimum 3 years of experience in handling CCTV surveillance systems in:

- School / Institution / Office / Factory / Commercial premises

- Must have practical experience in DVR, NVR and surveillance monitoring systems

Personal Requirements

- Honest, disciplined, and trustworthy
- Good communication skills
- No criminal background
- Physically and mentally fit

Working Conditions

- Duty Location: M.P. Birla School Control Room
- Shift Duty: As per school/security schedule
- Uniform & ID Card: Provided by Vicom Security Pvt. Ltd.
