The Challenge
Our client is looking for a talented QA Automation Engineer to help advance our quality engineering capabilities. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions that support high-quality software delivery across web, mobile, and OTT platforms.
You will work closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and DevOps teams to improve automation coverage, strengthen CI/CD reliability, and promote quality-first development practices.

Roles & Responsibilities
Automation Development
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for:
Functional Testing
Regression Testing
Integration Testing
Performance Testing
Create and execute automated test suites for web, mobile, and OTT applications.
Enhance and maintain existing automation assets for scalability and maintainability.

CI/CD Integration & Quality Assurance
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure reliable and repeatable automated test execution.
Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently.

Process Improvement & Collaboration
Review requirements and technical designs to improve testability.
Define automation standards, best practices,



and documentation.
Collaborate with QA, Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to improve release confidence and test coverage.
Evaluate and adopt modern automation tools and technologies.

Essential Skills & Requirements (Must Have)
Technical Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience designing and implementing automated testing solutions.
Strong experience with automation frameworks such as:
Playwright
Selenium
Cypress
Appium
Similar technologies
Proficiency in at least one automation programming language:
Java
JavaScript/TypeScript
Python
Experience integrating automated tests within CI/CD environments such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with automated API testing.
Experience building automation within modern CI/CD ecosystems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated passion for quality engineering and continuous improvement.
Contributions to open-source projects or previous technical leadership experience.
