Position: Junior / Senior Engineer – Product Design & Development

Location: Cochin, Kerala

CTC: Up to 6 LPA

Experience Required:

* Junior Engineer: 1–4 years in Mechanical Design, CAD Modeling, or Product Development.
* Senior Engineer: 5–10 years in Product Design & Development, with the ability to independently manage design activities and technical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

* Design and develop mechanical components, connectors, terminals, housings, and cable assemblies.
* Create and maintain 3D models, 2D engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
* Apply GD&T;, tolerance analysis, and engineering drawing standards.
* Participate in DFM/DFA reviews to ensure manufacturability and ease of assembly.
* Support design validation, product testing, qualification, and engineering analysis.
* Participate in DFMEA, root-cause analysis,



and corrective action activities.
* Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Sourcing, and Operations teams.
* Support manufacturing processes including stamping, plastic injection molding, plating, and assembly.
* Contribute to product improvement, cost optimization, and engineering change management.

Skills Required

* Mechanical product design and development.
* 3D CAD modeling using Creo, SolidWorks, or equivalent tools.
* GD&T; and engineering drawings.
* DFM/DFA and basic manufacturing process knowledge.
* Product validation, troubleshooting, and structured problem-solving.
* BOM preparation and engineering documentation.
