Qualification: B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: Fresher to 6 months
Salary: ₹11,000–₹17,000 per month, based on skills and knowledge
Mandatory Software: SolidWorks
Role Overview
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with hands-on knowledge of SolidWorks and basic exposure to plastic injection molding to support product design and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 3D part models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
- Assist in designing plastic components suitable for injection molding.
- Consider wall thickness, draft angles, ribs, bosses, and other molding requirements during design.
- Update drawings and models based on design reviews and manufacturing feedback.
- Coordinate with tooling, production,
and quality teams for component development.
- Maintain design files, drawings, and bills of materials.
Required Skills
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks is mandatory.
- Basic exposure to plastic injection molding through academic projects, internships, training, or work experience.
- Understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and mechanical design fundamentals.
- Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and positive teamwork skills.
