We’re looking for a hands-on Field Engineer/Lab Technician to execute geotechnical investigations and ensure accurate data collection at project sites. You’ll be the company’s eyes on the ground - coordinating drilling, in-situ tests, soil/rock sampling, and client/site engineer interactions.
Perfect for civil engineers who like field work over desk work and want to grow into a Site Lead / Geotech Engineer role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site Investigations: Supervise borehole drilling, SPT, DCPT, Plate Load Test, Block Vibration Test as per IS codes.
2. Sampling & Testing: Collect disturbed/undisturbed soil samples, rock cores. Maintain proper chain of custody to lab.
3. In-Situ Tests: Conduct permeability tests, field density tests,
with geophysics team.
4. Documentation: Maintain daily site logs, bore logs, progress reports, and photo documentation.
5. Safety & Coordination: Ensure PPE compliance, site safety. Coordinate with contractors, clients, and site engineers.
