Job Description

GRASSHOPPER LIFESTYLE PVT LTD is looking for an experienced Store Manager to independently manage its women's ethnic-wear wholesale and retail store.

The candidate must be capable of managing daily store operations, developing wholesale business, controlling inventory, supervising sales staff and ensuring smooth coordination with production and accounts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Wholesale & Retail Sales

- Manage existing boutique, textile shop and wholesale customers.
- Develop new wholesale customers and increase repeat orders.
- Handle customer enquiries, quotations, order booking and follow-ups.
- Set and monitor daily and monthly sales targets.
- Manage retail sales, customer service and product presentation.

2. Inventory Management

- Maintain accurate design-wise, colour-wise and size-wise stock records.
- Monitor stock inward, outward, transfers and dispatches.
- Conduct physical stock verification and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate inventory entries in the ERP system.

3. Order Management

- Coordinate with production and godown teams to fulfil customer orders.
- Monitor pending orders, packing, billing and dispatch.
- Follow up on outstanding customer payments as per company policy.

4. Staff Management

- Supervise and guide store sales executives.
- Allocate daily duties and monitor staff performance.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality and accountability.




- Ensure smooth store operations without constant supervision from the Managing Director.

5. Reporting & Accountability

- Submit daily sales, collections, pending orders and stock reports.
- Monitor sales performance and customer follow-ups.
- Identify operational problems and implement corrective actions.
- Take complete responsibility for the store's operational efficiency and business growth.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including 2–3 years in a supervisory or store-management role.
- Experience in garments, textiles, women's ethnic wear, fashion retail or wholesale distribution.
- Experience handling both wholesale and retail customers is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage staff, inventory and sales targets.
- Working knowledge of ERP/POS systems, inventory management and Excel.
- Good communication, leadership, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Malayalam and English proficiency required.

Ideal Candidate

We need a hands-on, responsible and sales-driven professional who can independently manage the store, build strong customer relationships, maintain inventory accuracy and grow wholesale sales.

This is not a sales-only position. The selected candidate must take ownership of the entire store operation and report directly to the Managing Director.
