For almost five decades, we have been part of India’s lighting industry.

Today, we are entering our next chapter — building a new-generation luxury and architectural lighting experience centre in Bengaluru.

THE ROLE

LUXURY SALES ADVISOR

The Sale Advisor is one of the most important client-facing positions at Lamp Crafts.

This is not a conventional showroom sales role.

You will be entrusted with clients, projects, relationships and the Lamp Crafts experience.

You will work with and support the Sales Executive team, while reporting to the Manager and working within the larger leadership structure of the GM and MDs.

The designation carries responsibility, trust and accountability.

We want people who can represent Lamp Crafts with the polish, confidence, knowledge and ownership expected from someone who treats the business as their own.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Client Experience & Discovery

* Welcome and engage clients professionally.

* Understand the person and the project before recommending products.

* Listen carefully and ask intelligent questions.

* Understand architecture, interiors, lifestyle, design intent, requirements and timelines.

* Guide clients through the Lamp Crafts experience.

Consultative Sales

* Develop enquiries into opportunities.

* Build relationships with homeowners, architects, interior designers, consultants and project professionals.

* Recommend appropriate lighting solutions.

* Present and demonstrate products.

* Prepare and present quotations.

* Handle objections and commercial discussions.





* Follow up consistently.

* Close projects and develop repeat business.

Product & Lighting Advisory

You will progressively develop strong knowledge of:

* Architectural lighting

* Decorative lighting

* Indoor and outdoor lighting

* Lighting technology

* Materials

* Optics

* Performance

* Beam control

* Colour quality

* Dimming

* Applications

You will learn not merely what a product is, but why it deserves to be recommended.

Project Coordination

You will work with:

* Architects

* Interior designers

* Lighting designers

* Consultants

* Contractors

* Electrical teams

* Vendors

* Installation teams

You will progressively be involved from enquiry and selection through quotation, ordering, delivery, installation and after-sales.

Team & Showroom Responsibility

You will work closely with the Sales team, supporting their development and maintaining the standards expected at Lamp Crafts.

You will also contribute to maintaining the showroom — its presentation, order, cleanliness, product displays and overall customer experience.

Lamp Crafts will provide training in:

Lighting | Products | Sales | Hospitality | Customer Experience | Project Coordination

You will learn from people with decades of industry experience and gain exposure to products, manufacturers, projects and professionals across the lighting industry.

The people who listen, learn and apply what they are taught will progress.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

Minimum qualification: Graduate in any discipline.

Candidates with backgrounds in:





Architecture | Interior Design | Engineering | Construction | Hospitality | Aviation | Business | Sales & Marketing

may be particularly suitable.

3+ years of relevant experience preferred, especially in luxury or premium retail, lighting, architecture, interiors, construction, hospitality, business development or client servicing.

What you have achieved in your previous role matters more to us than the designation you previously held.

LOCATION & COMMITMENT

Location: Bengaluru

This is a showroom-based position.

Candidates should either be located within a practical commuting distance of the Lamp Crafts showroom or be willing to relocate to Bengaluru.

6 days a week | Approximately 9–10 hours per day

This is not a work-from-home, hybrid or part-time position.

The initial years of building Lamp Crafts will require a high level of commitment from the core team.

Requires Site Visits.

COMPENSATION & PERKS

* Fixed salary based on experience and capability

* Monthly individual and team performance incentives

* Annual performance incentives

* Travel allowance for approved business travel

* Accommodation and food may be provided after successful completion of probation, subject to company policy and availability

* Health insurance after 6 months, subject to company policy

* Annual performance bonus eligibility from the 3rd year onwards, after completion of 2 full years with Lamp Crafts

The annual bonus is performance-based and is not fixed or guaranteed.
