Tiny Tales Early Learning Studio | Masjid Banda, near Botanical Garden

Tiny Tales Early Learning Studio is looking for a caring, affectionate, responsible, and actively involved teacher to work with young children aged 2–4 years.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with toddlers, understands their developmental needs, and can create a safe, warm, engaging, and well-managed classroom environment.

Eligibility & Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of relevant teaching experience is mandatory.
- Experience working with children aged 2–4 years is strongly preferred.
- Must be affectionate, patient, attentive, and genuinely caring towards young children.
- Must be comfortable managing an active classroom with toddlers who need close supervision and frequent guidance.
- Must follow the curriculum, classroom routines, safety protocols, and professional guidelines provided by the Centre Manager.
- Must be receptive to feedback, willing to learn, and able to work collaboratively with the team.
- Good communication skills and a responsible, professional attitude are essential.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Child Safety & Active Supervision

- Actively supervise children throughout the school day, particularly during free play, movement activities, transitions, and outdoor or gross-motor play.
- Stay attentive and physically present on the classroom floor, moving with the children and anticipating potential safety risks.
- Proactively prevent accidents by guiding children, managing running and rough play,



and intervening calmly when needed.
- Never rely solely on shouting instructions or calling out children's names from a seated position to manage the classroom.

2. Care, Comfort & Emotional Well-being

- Build warm, trusting relationships with children through affection, patience, and positive interactions.
- Respond sensitively to children's emotions, needs, conflicts, and distress.
- Support toileting, hygiene, meals/snacks, and other age-appropriate care routines as required.
- Treat every child with dignity and never use shouting, intimidation, humiliation, or physical punishment.

3. Classroom Management & Learning

- Engage children in age-appropriate, play-based learning activities, stories, music, movement, art, and sensory experiences.
- Guide children's behaviour using simple instructions, redirection, encouragement, and consistent routines.
- Support sharing, turn-taking, independence, social interaction, and early communication skills.
- Prepare and organise learning materials and help maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating classroom.

4. Professional Responsibilities

- Follow the classroom guidelines, lesson plans, and instructions provided by the Centre Manager.




- Accept feedback constructively and implement agreed improvements in daily practice.
- Communicate classroom observations, incidents, and concerns promptly to the Centre Manager.
- Maintain professional boundaries, respect the centre's management structure, and work cooperatively with colleagues.
- Follow all centre policies relating to child safety, parent communication, confidentiality, and staff conduct.
