Job Summary

We are looking for an ERPNext Pre-Sales Executive who can understand customer business requirements and prepare accurate, professional proposals and quotations based on ERPNext functionalities and customization requirements.

The candidate will analyse customer requirements, identify suitable standard ERPNext features, distinguish between configuration and customization, coordinate with developers to validate technical feasibility and effort estimates, and prepare proposals with clearly defined scope, deliverables, timelines, and costs.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand customer business requirements through phone calls, emails, online meetings, and requirement documents.
- Analyse customer workflows and map them to ERPNext modules and standard functionalities.
- Understand ERPNext modules such as Accounting, Sales, Purchase, Stock, CRM, HRMS, Manufacturing, and other relevant modules.
- Identify requirements that can be fulfilled through standard features, configuration, customization, custom reports, or third-party integrations.
- Document functional requirements and identify gaps between standard ERPNext functionality and customer expectations.
- Coordinate with ERPNext functional consultants and developers to confirm technical feasibility and estimate customization efforts.
- Prepare professional ERPNext implementation proposals, quotations, and Statements of Work (SOW).
- Clearly define project scope, modules, deliverables, customizations, integrations, timelines, assumptions, and exclusions.
- Prepare preliminary implementation cost estimates in coordination with the technical and project teams.
- Revise proposals based on customer feedback and internal discussions.
- Maintain proper documentation of requirements, proposals, quotations, and revisions.
- Ensure a clear handover of approved project scope to the implementation team.

Required Skills





- Basic knowledge of ERPNext and its business modules.
- Understanding of business workflows and software implementation processes.
- Ability to distinguish standard ERPNext features from configuration and customization requirements.
- Good analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and skilled proposal preparation.
- Ability to coordinate with sales, functional, and development teams.
- Attention to detail when defining project scope, deliverables, and costs.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in ERPNext pre-sales, functional consulting, business analysis, or software implementation.
- Familiarity with Frappe Framework and ERPNext customization concepts.
- Experience preparing software proposals, quotations, and implementation estimates.
- Understanding of accounting, inventory, sales, purchase, CRM, and other business processes.

Performance Indicators

- Accuracy of customer requirement documentation.
- Quality and turnaround time of proposals and quotations.
- Correct identification of standard ERPNext features and customization requirements.
- Accuracy of preliminary project estimates.
- Reduction in scope-related misunderstandings during implementation.
- Timely coordination and handover to the implementation team.

Job Conditions

- 100% office-based position.
- No field sales, outdoor marketing, or routine customer-site visits.
- Customer communication through phone, email, and online meetings.
- Primary focus on ERPNext requirement analysis, solution mapping, customization assessment, proposal preparation, and quotation preparation.

Ideal Candidate: Someone who can understand customer requirements, map them to ERPNext, identify customization needs, coordinate with technical teams, and prepare a clear and commercially accurate proposal before the project is committed.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹34,000.00 per month
