6) Job Description :

Department: Sales

1. Develop and manage relationships with major Modern Trade accounts such as D-

Mart, Reliance, More, Star Bazaar, etc and Regional Chains.

2. Develop account-wise sales plans, forecasts and growth strategies.

3. Negotiate listing, margins, trade schemes, promotions, visibility and commercial

terms with key accounts.

4. Manage product assortment, new product launches, listings and delistings across

accounts.

5. Plan and execute consumer promotions, in-store activations, displays and visibility

programs.

6. Coordinate with supply chain, distributors, finance, marketing and production teams

to ensure smooth execution.

7. Track promotional spends, claims, discounts and account profitability.

8. Monitor competitors’ pricing, promotions, current launches and visibility.





9. Conduct regular joint business reviews (JBRs) with key accounts.

10. Prepare regular MIS and management reports covering sales, achievement, growth,

inventory, schemes and profitability.

Candidate Profile :-

1. 8–10 years of FMCG sales experience, preferably with significant Modern

Trade exposure in Gujarat and new market expansion.

2. Strong experience in key account management and negotiations.

3. Strong relationships with major Modern Trade chains and regional retailers.

4. Good understanding of Modern Trade commercials, margins, schemes and

promotional spends.

5. Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.

6. Strong understanding of Modern Trade Commercials like Terms of Trade.

7. Willingness to travel for market visits and key-account meetings.
