Job Summary

KNL Axles Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and skilled CNC Setter to set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines for the manufacturing of precision automotive and engineering components. The candidate should have practical experience in machine setting, tool setting, offset adjustment, drawing interpretation, and dimensional inspection.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC machines as per production requirements.
- Perform machine setting, tool setting, and job setting.
- Adjust tool offsets, work offsets, and machining parameters.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining instructions.
- Select suitable cutting tools, inserts, and fixtures for machining operations.
- Monitor machining cycles and maintain required production output.
- Inspect finished components using vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Maintain dimensional accuracy and ensure components meet quality standards.
- Identify and resolve basic machine-setting and tooling-related problems.
- Minimize rejection, tool wear, and machine downtime.
- Follow production targets, safety procedures, and 5S standards.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and report maintenance issues to the concerned department.




- Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in CNC machine setting and operation.
- Knowledge of tool offsets, work offsets, cutting tools, and machining parameters.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand dimensional tolerances.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments and quality inspection methods.
- Understanding of production planning, cycle time, and rejection control.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and perform overtime as per company requirements.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in automotive component manufacturing or precision machining.
- Knowledge of CNC turning machines and relevant machine controls.
- Familiarity with Fanuc or Siemens controllers will be an advantage.
- Experience working with production targets and quality standards.

Salary and Benefits

- Salary: ₹18,000–₹28,000 per month, negotiable based on experience.
