About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Rooftop Solar Engineer to join our team. This role is open to ambitious freshers looking to build a career in the renewable energy sector, as well as experienced professionals ready to manage end-to-end solar installations. You will be responsible for assisting or leading site surveys, technical design, installation supervision, and commissioning of residential, commercial, and industrial (C&I;) rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Site Feasibility & Surveys:
- Conduct thorough site visits and rooftop assessments.
- Evaluate structural shadow analysis, load-bearing capacity, and optimal orientation/tilt angles.
- Design & Engineering:
- Assist in preparing Single Line Diagrams (SLD), component layout designs, and string sizing calculations.
- Familiarity with design tools like AutoCAD, PVsyst, or HelioScope is an advantage.
- Project Execution & Supervision:
- Oversee or assist in the physical installation of mounting structures, solar panels, DC/AC cabling, inverters, and earthing/lightning protection systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry safety standards and quality guidelines on site.
- Testing & Commissioning:




- Perform pre-commissioning checks (IR testing, open-circuit voltage, short-circuit current tests) and grid synchronization.
- Documentation & Liaison:
- Assist in preparing project documentation, net-metering applications, and liaison work with local electricity boards/DISCOMs where required.

Eligibility & Qualifications

- Education:
- Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering, or Renewable Energy.
- ITI Electrical / vocational certifications with strong practical foundational knowledge are also welcome.
- Experience Requirements:
- Freshers: Eager engineering graduates/diploma holders with a solid understanding of solar PV fundamentals, basic electrical concepts, and a willingness to learn on the job.
- Experienced: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in rooftop solar EPC execution, site engineering, or system design.
- Key Skills:
- Good understanding of AC/DC electrical systems.
- Basic knowledge of CAD software or solar design tools is a strong plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and readiness for field visits.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for client/vendor coordination.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹28,438.42 - ₹47,400.97 per month
