role overview

as a senior academic counselor at CADD Centre Calicut, you will guide engineering, architecture, and diploma students as well as working professionals toward relevant cad, cam, cae, bim, and project management courses. this role combines technical career counseling with student conversion, inquiry management, and lead closing to achieve monthly enrollment targets.

key responsibilities

- conduct face-to-face, telephonic, and online counseling sessions for engineering and architecture students, explaining course structures, certifications, and career roadmaps
- follow up consistently on walk-ins, website leads, social media inquiries, and college seminar contacts to convert prospects into confirmed admissions
- understand student aspirations and recommend suitable training packages across civil, mechanical, electrical, and architectural design streams
- achieve individual and team-level monthly and quarterly student admission targets
- assist the centre head in organizing college outreach programs, seminars, workshops, and career guidance events across Calicut and neighboring districts
- handle end-to-end admission paperwork,



payment processing, fee collection, and batch scheduling in the crm
- maintain high referral rates through regular engagement with current students and alumni

required qualifications and skills

- bachelor degree in any discipline; engineering, polytechnic diploma, or business administration background is preferred
- minimum 3 years of proven experience in course counseling, student admissions, or inside sales within an edtech or training institute
- robust verbal communication in Malayalam and English
- familiar with basic engineering and architectural design terms such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or Creo
- working knowledge of crm software, MS Excel, and lead management workflows
- proven negotiation, relationship-building, and target-driven closing skills

preferred attributes

- prior experience working with educational institutes or CAD training centers in Malabar
- ability to mentor junior counselors and manage front-desk lead flow efficiently
- professional presentation style suited for interacting with college principals, department heads, and parents

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
