# Stores Manager ## Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly organized **Stores Manager** to oversee all aspects of material handling, inventory control, and stores operations. This critical role involves implementing 5S methodology, optimizing kitting processes, and ensuring accurate Bill of Material (BOM) management to support productive production schedules. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong commitment to operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement within our operations category. ## Key Responsibilities * Oversee and manage all material flow and inventory within the stores, ensuring optimal stock levels and availability. * Implement and maintain 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to ensure an organized, clean, and efficient work environment. * Manage and optimize kitting processes to accurately support production schedules and minimize delays. * Ensure accurate creation, maintenance, and control of Bill of Materials (BOM), collaborating with relevant departments. * Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconcile inventory discrepancies to maintain high data accuracy. * Develop and implement strategies for efficient material storage, retrieval, and space utilization. * Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards in stores operations. * Lead, mentor, and develop the stores team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. * Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure seamless material flow and operational efficiency. ## Required Skills & Qualifications * Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in stores management, inventory control, or a similar operational role. * Proven expertise in Inventory Management and Material Management. * Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain 5S Methodology effectively. * Hands-on experience with Kitting Operations and Bill of Material (BOM) Management.



* Strong understanding of Warehouse Operations and Stock Control principles. * Proficiency in using ERP systems for inventory management and operational tracking. * Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments. ## Preferred Qualifications (Good-to-Have Skills) * Experience with broader Supply Chain Management principles and practices. * Knowledge of Logistics Coordination and freight management. * Advanced proficiency with various ERP Systems and inventory optimization tools. * Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies. ## Work Culture & Expectations We foster a dynamic and collaborative work environment where efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement are paramount.
