Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: M.Sc. in Biology, Botany, Zoology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Microbiology from a recognized university.
- Skilled Degree: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory for most formal school boards.
- Experience: Generally 2 to 5 years of prior teaching experience at the senior secondary or PGT level.
- Core Skills: Strong grasp of subject theory, practical laboratory management, CBSE/NEP guidelines adherence, and student preparation for board exams or competitive tests like NEET.
Primary Roles & Responsibilities
- Lesson Planning: Designing structured daily lesson plans and assessments aligned with board syllabi.
- Practical Labs: Overseeing botany and zoology laboratory sessions to build hands-on scientific understanding.
- Student Support: Conducting remedial classes, resolving academic doubts, and tracking student performance.
- Parent & Staff Collaboration: Attending parent-teacher meetings and contributing to departmental or school events
