Key Responsibilities

- Plan and anchor prime-time news programmes, interviews, debates, and panel discussions.
- Develop engaging programme concepts, discussion topics, and insightful questions on current affairs.
- Coordinate with the editorial team and ground reporters for daily coverage and next-day programme planning.
- Demonstrate solid knowledge of West Bengal's politics, social issues, culture, and regional geography.
- Conduct interviews with prominent political leaders, policymakers, experts, and public personalities.
- Build brand visibility, audience trust, and engagement through impactful and credible presentation.
- Collaborate with video and social media teams to maximise programme reach across YouTube and other digital platforms.
- Maintain editorial integrity, factual accuracy, impartiality, and professionalism.





Candidate Profile

- Excellent command of spoken Bengali and strong on-screen presentation skills.
- Relevant experience in television news anchoring, digital journalism, or prime-time programme hosting.
- Strong political awareness, analytical thinking, research skills, and editorial judgement.
- Established professional reputation and recognisable presence in Kolkata and West Bengal.
- Ability to handle live discussions, challenging interviews, and breaking news confidently.
- Understanding of digital video content and audience engagement is preferred.
