We are hiring an experienced and hands-on Automation Engineer to manage programming, electrical design, and commissioning of advanced laser systems, CNC-based automation, and custom industrial machines. The role demands expertise in PLC programming, SCADA/HMI configuration, electrical layout design, and on-site machine commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop electrical layouts and wiring diagrams for machines using EPlan / AutoCAD Electrical.

- Program PLCs (Siemens S7-1200/1500, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi) for machine logic, I/O configuration, safety interlocks, and process control.

- Configure and debug HMI/SCADA systems (WinCC, TIA Portal, Indusoft, etc.).

- Program and tune servo drives, VFDs, and stepper controllers.

- Integrate sensors, actuators, IO-Link devices, safety relays, and fieldbus networks (Profinet, EtherCAT, Modbus).

- Perform on-site commissioning of machines, especially those involving CNC tables, laser galvo systems, and automation modules.

- Coordinate with mechanical and design teams for system integration and troubleshooting.

- Assist in the development of diagnostic dashboards, recipe management, and Industry 4.0 integration (if applicable).





- Create and maintain electrical documentation, wiring schedules, and control panel layout drawings.

- Support FAT/SAT and customer handover processes.

Required Skills & Experience

- Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering.

- 3–6 years experience in industrial automation, machine commissioning, or control system design.

- Hands-on experience with:

- PLC Platforms: Siemens TIA Portal (S7-1200/1500), Mitsubishi GX Works, Allen-Bradley Studio 5000

- HMI/SCADA: Siemens WinCC, Indusoft, Weintek, Schneider Vijeo

- Drives & Motors: Panasonic, Delta, Siemens, Mitsubishi, L&T;

- Wiring and Panel Design: EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical

- Experience with laser systems, CNC/servo motion platforms and robotics.

- Ability to read and troubleshoot complex wiring diagrams.

- Familiarity with CE, UL, or ISO safety standards for electrical panels.

Preferred Tools & Software

- EPlan / AutoCAD Electrical – Electrical design

- TIA Portal / WinCC / Indusoft – PLC & HMI Programming

- Oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal analyzers – Debugging tools

- ERP – For BOM, job cards, and documentation (preferred but trainable)
