- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair medical equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of medical devices.
- Ensure all medical equipment is functioning safely and efficiently
- Attend equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Coordinate with equipment suppliers and service engineers for repairs. Maintain records of equipment maintenance, servicing, and calibration.
- Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards and applicable regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of medical equipment in all departments.
- Coordinate with clinical staff regarding equipment requirements and technical issues.
- Provide training to hospital staff on the safe operation of medical equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and report recurring technical problems.
- Maintain an inventory of medical equipment, accessories, and spare parts.
- Coordinate the installation and commissioning of current equipment.
- Ensure proper handling and safe use of medical devices.
- Report equipment-related risks, malfunctions,



and safety concerns to the concerned authority.
- Coordinate with the purchase department for equipment procurement and replacement.
- Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance schedules.
- Maintain equipment warranties, service contracts, and related documents.
- Support hospital accreditation requirements related to medical equipment management.
- Escalate unresolved technical issues to the Biomedical In-charge or Operations Department.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the management.

Qualifications:

- B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering / Diploma in Biomedical Engineering

- Relevant experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.

- Knowledge of medical equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety standards.

- Good technical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
