Job Title: CATIA CAM ProgrammerJob Summary

We are looking for a skilled CATIA CAM Programmer responsible for CNC machining programming, toolpath generation, and machining process optimization using CATIA Manufacturing. The candidate should have experience in CNC milling, engineering drawing interpretation, tool selection, and CNC program verification.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Develop CNC machining programs using CATIA V5 Manufacturing.
- Generate toolpaths for roughing, semi-finishing, and finishing operations.
- Interpret 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and machining specifications.
- Perform 3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis CNC milling programming as required.
- Select suitable cutting tools, tool holders, cutting parameters, feed rates, and spindle speeds.
- Simulate and verify toolpaths to identify collisions, gouging, and machining errors.
- Generate machine-specific NC programs using appropriate postprocessors.
- Optimize toolpaths to reduce machining cycle time and improve productivity.
- Prepare tool lists, setup sheets, and machining instructions for CNC operators.
- Support CNC machine prove-out, trial machining, and program corrections.




- Coordinate with design, production, tooling, and quality teams to resolve machining issues.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and compliance with engineering specifications.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience with CATIA V5 Manufacturing / NC Programming.
- Knowledge of CNC milling and VMC machining.
- Experience with roughing, finishing, and rest machining strategies.
- Understanding of cutting tools and machining parameters.
- Knowledge of CNC G-code, M-code, and postprocessing.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
- Knowledge of toolpath simulation and collision checking.
- Positive problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in automotive, aerospace, die and mould, or precision component manufacturing.
- Knowledge of 3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis machining.
- Experience with CNC machine prove-out and cycle-time optimization.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
