Take ownership of enterprise IT infrastructure in a remote role focused on maintaining secure, reliable, and high-performing Windows Server and VMware environments. As an experienced infrastructure skilled, you will manage server administration, virtualisation platforms, system upgrades, migrations, and security patching. You will play a key role in ensuring infrastructure availability, optimising system performance, and resolving complex technical incidents before they affect business operations. Working closely with IT operations, security, application, and support teams, you will contribute to infrastructure modernisation and continuous improvement initiatives. You will also leverage PowerShell scripting to automate routine tasks, streamline administrative processes, and enhance operational efficiency. This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong,

Accountabilities:
• Windows Server administration: Install, configure, administer, and maintain Windows Server environments to ensure optimal performance, security, availability, and reliability.

• Active Directory management: Manage Windows Active Directory, including user and group accounts, authentication, access permissions, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).

• VMware virtualisation: Administer, configure, monitor, and maintain VMware vSphere and ESXi environments, ensuring the stability and health of the virtual infrastructure.

• Virtual machine management: Provision and manage virtual machines, optimise resource allocation, monitor capacity utilisation, and maintain overall virtual infrastructure performance.
