Job Description: Lead Electrical Engineer

Data Centre Project, Dholera
Position Summary
Lead Electrical Engineer to oversee all electrical systems design, installation, and commissioning for mission-critical data centre in Dholera. Manage critical power infrastructure including HV/LV power distribution, UPS systems, generators, lighting, grounding, and building management systems to deliver reliable, redundant electrical infrastructure meeting Tier III/IV standards.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Design Management
• Oversee all electrical engineering aspects including power distribution, backup power, lighting, grounding, and BMS
• Review and approve electrical designs, single-line diagrams, load calculations, and protection coordination studies
• Specify critical equipment: transformers, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, PDUs, batteries, and distribution panels
• Ensure designs meet NBC, IS/IEC standards, CEA regulations, and data centre standards (Uptime Institute, TIA-942)
• Optimize electrical system redundancy (N, N+1, 2N configurations) for required uptime levels
• Lead power quality analysis, harmonic studies, and arc flash assessments
• Design energy-efficient systems with PUE optimization strategies

• Coordinate HV power supply from utility including substation design and grid interface
• Design LV power distribut
