Purpose of Job

Stantec has an exciting chance for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our Pune Team on a permanent basis. This role will be involved in carrying out geotechnical investigations, GIS, or design on a wide range of civil engineering projects in locations across APAC region including the Philippines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead BIM delivery and coordinate models, drawings and associated documentation across multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.

• Establish project BIM workflows, model structures, reference strategies, drawing standards, naming conventions and delivery procedures.

• Lead hands-on model development and drawing production using Autodesk and Bentley as the primary applications. Knowing Bentley OpenBuildings Designer would also be a strong advantage,

• Use MicroStation for 2D and 3D modelling, drawing production, references, levels, models, sheets and project deliverables.

• Coordinate OpenBuildings models with OpenRoads Designer and OpenBridge Modeler information for road, bridge and wider infrastructure projects.





• Prepare and review 3D models, general arrangement drawings, sections, elevations, details and other project documentation.

• Ensure model and drawing coordination with structural, civil, architectural and other internal and external disciplines.

• Perform BIM QA/QC reviews and ensure compliance with project requirements, client standards and Stantec quality procedures.

• Identify modelling, coordination and documentation issues, communicate them to the appropriate project lead and support timely resolution.

• Plan BIM activities, task priorities, deliverable sequencing and resource requirements in coordination with project managers and engineering leads.

• Provide day-to-day technical guidance, task coordination and mentoring to BIM Modellers, Technicians and Designers.
