About the Role

The role sits within the Research & Analysis (R&A;) function supporting ANZ's UK & Europe Corporate Banking business. The team manages a large and diverse portfolio of institutional clients across a range of sectors including Retail, Manufacturing, Industrials, Media, Entertainment, and other corporate industries.

Research & Analysis is responsible for partnering closely with Coverage and Credit Risk teams to identify, assess, and manage customer and portfolio risks while supporting business growth. The team acts as a key interface between Relationship Managers and Credit, delivering balanced outcomes through strong customer focus, proactive risk management, and effective execution.





The role provides exposure to the end-to-end credit management lifecycle, including credit writing, risk grading, credit analysis, approvals, documentation, portfolio monitoring, covenant monitoring, and ongoing portfolio management activities.

What will your day look like?

• Conduct detailed financial, business, and industry analysis for institutional corporate clients.

• Prepare high-quality credit submissions, annual reviews, and credit recommendations.

• Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with clients' capital structures, management teams, and financial performance.

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring timely completion of annual reviews, risk monitoring, and portfolio management activities.
