Job Description The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (India) will design, build, and maintain Web UI and API capabilities for HP Project Trinity as part of the Insight Global Hyderabad engineering team. Project Trinity brings HP Poly's PolyApp to its target state on PolyOS 5.x, moving from the legacy PolyOS 4.x application on Android 11 to the new PolyOS 5.x application on Android 13, . This individual will work under the technical direction of the U.S.-based Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, owning complex features across the UI, REST and Telnet API, and integration layers, and providing guidance to other India-based full stack developers. Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain Web UI components supporting the Poly 5.x platform
- Design, build, and maintain REST and Telnet API capabilities and platform connectivity
- Own complex features end to end, from technical design through release
- Integrate Web UI and API components with Android OS, SDK, and platform workstreams
- Perform code reviews and mentor India-based full stack developers
- Investigate and resolve defects across UI, API, and integration layers
- Write unit and integration tests and support QA with test scenarios and defect reproduction
- Support build, deployment, and release-readiness activities
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Maintain technical documentation and API specifications for assigned components This position is best suited for a senior full stack engineer who can independently own complex features and act as the technical anchor for the India-based full stack team. The role requires strong technical depth, clear communication with U.S.-based leads,



and the ability to keep work moving across time zones. Additional information on Ideal Candidate:
The perfect candidate has built web and API layers for device, platform, or connected products and is comfortable working across front end, back end, and integration code. The candidate communicates proactively with U.S. stakeholders and helps raise the quality of the broader team through reviews and mentoring. Skills and Requirements - 7 to 10 years of professional software engineering experience, with strong full stack development experience
- Strong experience building modern web user interfaces using JavaScript / TypeScript and a modern framework such as React or Angular
- Strong back-end development experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and services
- Experience designing, documenting, and versioning APIs consumed by devices, applications, or partner teams
- Experience integrating web front ends with back-end services and device or platform APIs
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL data stores
- Experience writing unit and integration tests and contributing to automated test coverage
- Experience with Git-based source control, pull-request reviews, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery teams
- Experience performing code reviews and mentoring other engineers




- Robust written and verbal communication skills
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and MCP servers
- Ability to work from India with daily overlap with U.S. Central Time business hours
- Experience building web-based configuration, administration, or management interfaces for hardware devices
- Experience with Telnet, SSH, or command-line device control interfaces in addition to REST APIs
- Experience developing SDKs or developer-facing interfaces
- Experience with Android, embedded, or device-platform teams
- Experience with video conferencing or collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or Google Meet
