• About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in the Commodities Technology Team

In this role, you will:
• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential recent clients' needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience,



or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 5+ years of overall Software Engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Open Link Endur
• Mandatory Experience in Open JVS, Java, Open Components
• Should have knowledge of Commodities Natural Gas, Crude and power trading

Desired Qualifications:
• Java Proficiency: Strong command of Java 8+, including modern language features such as Stream/Optional APIs.
• Spring Boot Expertise: Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining production-grade microservices with Spring Boot 3.x, including auto-configuration, actuator, profiles, and externalized configuration.
• RESTful API Design: Ability to design clean, versioned REST APIs following OpenAPI/Swagger standards with proper error handling, pagination.
• Build & Dependency Management: Experience with Maven or Gradle, dependency management strategi
