Job Title: US Tax Accountant / Audit Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking experienced US Tax Accountants / Audit Supervisors to support US accounting, tax compliance, financial reporting, and audit-related activities while working remotely from India. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), US tax regulations, and US audit and filing requirements.
Candidates with experience working for US accounting firms or Big Four firms in India, particularly in US client servicing, audit, tax preparation, and financial reporting, will be preferred.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
• US Accounting and Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• US Tax Compliance and Filing: Support the preparation, review,



and filing of US federal and state tax returns, as applicable to the candidate’s experience.
• Audit Management: Execute and supervise audit engagements, including audit planning, risk assessment, testing, documentation, and review of audit workpapers.
• US GAAP Compliance: Ensure accounting transactions, financial statements, and reporting processes comply with applicable US GAAP requirements.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial records, identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Internal Controls: Evaluate accounting processes and internal controls, identify potential risks, and recommend improvements.
• Client Coordination: Communicate with US-based clients, finance teams, and stakeholders to obtain information, resolve queries, and meet reporting deadlines.
