Role Description

This is a part-time, remote role for a Cybersecurity Trainer. The trainer will deliver live online sessions, workshops, and hands-on labs covering core cybersecurity topics such as application security, network security, information security, and malware analysis. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing training materials, updating course content, demonstrating tools and techniques in secure environments, and guiding learners through practical exercises and projects.



The trainer will also assess learner progress, provide feedback, support interview preparation, and collaborate with the training team to improve course quality and align content with current industry practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess robust foundational skills in Cybersecurity and Information Security.
• Candidates should possess skills in Network Security and Application Security.
• Candidates should possess skills in Malware Analysis and related threat detection techniques.
• Experience with common security tools, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, vulnerability assessment, secure coding) is beneficial.
• Prior experience in technical training, mentoring, or teaching in an IT or cybersecurity domain is preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP, or similar are advantageous.
