Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented L1 Infrastructure Support Engineer to manage day-to-day IT infrastructure operations, monitoring, and level-1 support. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security of Windows/Linux operating systems, hypervisors, networks, backups, and storage environments while adhering to SLA-based service delivery.

Key Responsibilities1. OS Administration & System Health

• Perform day-to-day administration and health checks for Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Execute scheduled OS patching, security updates, and assist in vulnerability remediation.
• Perform basic Hyper-V health checks, monitoring, and routine administration.
• Incident Management & L1 Support




• Provide L1 troubleshooting for infrastructure-related incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
• Conduct application-level support and coordinate with technical teams for swift incident resolution.
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to L2 Support, OEM Vendors, or Application Development Teams with transparent diagnostic reports.
• Infrastructure & Backup Monitoring
• Continuously monitor servers, storage arrays, network devices, security tools, and virtualization platforms.
• Oversee scheduled backup processes, verify backup success/failure logs, and coordinate remediation for failed jobs.
• Conduct periodic physical/virtual infrastructure health checks and log analysis.
• Operations & Documentation
• Maintain up-to-date operational documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), system inventories, and ticket records.
• Ensure strict compliance with ITIL framework processes and SLA targets.
