Role Description The Assistant Manager – Audit and Tax is a full time, on-site role based in the Pune Division.
This position involves planning and executing statutory, internal, and tax audits, reviewing working papers, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards. The role includes managing direct and international tax assignments, overseeing tax computations and returns, supporting tax assessments and litigation, and advising on FEMA, RBI, and cross-border matters as needed. The Assistant Manager will supervise and guide junior team members, review their work, and coordinate with clients to obtain information, clarify issues, and present findings. The role also requires preparing high-quality reports and documentation, monitoring engagement timelines, and contributing to process improvements and knowledge sharing within the firm.
