About the role
We are looking for a Group Head – Marketing Automation to lead our CRM and marketing automation practice. The role owns client relationships, lifecycle strategy and delivery quality across a portfolio of accounts and builds and leads a team of Business Managers and Analysts. The person will be the senior point of contact for clients and will help grow the practice through new business, solutioning and capability building.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy and client leadership
• Own the overall CRM and lifecycle marketing strategy for a portfolio of clients, tied to their business goals (retention, repeat purchase, LTV, churn reduction, reactivation).
• Act as the senior stakeholder for client CXOs and marketing heads. Lead quarterly business reviews, strategy roadmaps and annual planning.
• Translate client business problems into lifecycle programmes, journey architecture and measurement frameworks.
• Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts (upsell, cross-sell, new channels and use cases).

Practice and delivery




• Oversee end-to-end delivery of campaigns and journeys across Email, SMS, WhatsApp, Push, In-app and other channels for all accounts in the group.
• Set and govern delivery standards: campaign calendars, QA processes, SLAs and zero-error execution.
• Drive the use of advanced platform capabilities: personalisation, predictive segments, A/B and multivariate testing, AI-led recommendations and automation.
• Own the reporting and insights framework across accounts and make sure performance insights lead to action.

Business development
• Lead pitches, RFP responses, solution design and current client onboarding/implementations.
• Build the practice’s thought leadership: case studies, POVs, playbooks and platform partnerships (CleverTap, MoEngage, WebEngage, SFMC, etc.).
• Contribute to revenue targets, account profitability and resource planning.

People leadership
• Lead, mentor and grow a team of Business Managers, Senior Analysts and
