Position: Senior Quality Engineering (QE) Engineer – Verisk QUICK / Hexure FireLight / ForeSight

Role Overview & Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for enterprise insurance applications.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing for workflows involving Verisk FAST, Hexure FireLight, or Hexure ForeSight platforms.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and validate API integrations, backend data flows, and microservices.
• Perform database validation, data integrity testing, and data verification using SQL queries.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, defect triage, and CI/CD deployment validation using Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate directly with US-based developers, business analysts, and product owners during US Eastern Time (EST/EDT)

Required Qualifications & Skills:
• 7–9 years of genuine professional experience in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or Test Automation.
• Mandatory hands-on technical experience with at least one required platform: Verisk FAST, Hexure FireLight, or Hexure ForeSight.
• Strong practical understanding of insurance domain workflows (Life Insurance, Annuities, Policy Administration, or e-Application distribution).
• Demonstrated experience in functional, integration, regression, API, and database testing.
• Automation testing experience using frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or REST Assured is highly desirable.
• Strong written/verbal communication skills and ability to work independently in a distributed remote team.
• Must be available to work during US Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) business hours.
