Role Description The Assistant Professor – Marketing (Amity Global Business School) role is a part-time, on-site position based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The role involves designing and delivering engaging marketing courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including lectures, seminars, and case-based discussions. Daily responsibilities include preparing course materials, supervising student projects, guiding learners on research and industry applications, and assessing student performance through assignments and examinations. The faculty member will contribute to curriculum development, participate in academic committees, support student mentoring, and engage with industry partners to bring contemporary marketing practices into the classroom. In addition, the role may include contributing to research activities, attending departmental meetings, and supporting academic events and outreach initiatives.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Market Research and Research methodologies relevant to business and management studies.




• Candidates should possess expertise in Consumer Behavior and Marketing Management to effectively teach and guide students in core marketing domains.
• Candidates should possess applied Marketing skills, including exposure to contemporary marketing practices and industry trends.
• Postgraduate degree (preferably MBA or Master’s in Marketing/Management) from a recognized institution; a PhD or progress toward a PhD in Marketing or related field is highly beneficial.
• Prior teaching experience at the university or business school level, with the ability to design and deliver interactive, practice-oriented courses.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with an ability to engage a diverse student body and foster inclusive classroom environments.
• Demonstrated interest in academic research, industry collaboration, or consulting in marketing-related areas is an advantage.
