Team Lead – GEBS Operations

The Team Lead – Purchasing Operations is part of GEBS Business Operations in India and leads a team supporting purchasing activities across all four global regions. The role operates in a fast-paced environment and is accountable for process excellence, team capability, stakeholder engagement, and efficient execution across the End to End Procurement lifecycle.
The position builds a performance-driven culture, enables readiness for technology and operational change, and drives productivity and continuous improvement within the Lifecycle Services Supply Chain. It supports materials and services procurement while ensuring consistent, high-quality outcomes for internal customers.

Reports to: Manager, GEBS Business Operations

Key Responsibilities
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• At least eight years of experience in business operations, including a minimum of five years in purchasing or procurement within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.




• Demonstrated experience leading stretched assignments, managing functional performance deliverables, and engaging stakeholders across regions and functions.
• Strong working knowledge of supply chain and purchasing processes, including Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, direct purchasing, supplier management, and materials planning.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise systems such as IFS and SAP, including CRM, ECC, or Materials Management modules; experience with Rockwell Automation business systems is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity and reporting applications.
• Solid written and verbal communication, active listening, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and business-analysis capabilities.
• Ability to translate operational data into clear priorities, actions, and measurable business outcomes.
• MBA or a comparable profess
