Role Description The Delivery Driver role at NKS FREIGHTHUB PVT LTD is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely operating Own vehicles to pick up, transport, and deliver goods to designated locations, following scheduled routes and timelines. Day-to-day tasks include loading and unloading packages, verifying delivery documents, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and complying with traffic and safety regulations. The role also involves interacting with customers and site staff in a skilled manner, obtaining signatures or proof of delivery,
and reporting any issues, delays, or incidents to the supervisor. The Delivery Driver may support basic warehouse tasks when required, such as organising shipments and assisting with inventory checks.
Qualifications
• Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Experience with material-handling equipment is beneficial for loading and unloading freight safely.
• Ability to participate in and support Training activities, including learning company procedures and safety standards.
• Basic awareness of Sales and Food & Beverage operations is helpful when delivering to commercial or hospitality clients.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and familiarity with routes in and around Bengaluru.
• Understanding of road safety rules and ability to follow company policies and local regulations.
