Key Responsibilities
• Maintaining day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP.
• Preparation and filing of GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconciliation (2B vs. books).
• TDS calculation, return filing, and payment processing.
• Bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny (debtors/creditors).
• Preparation of purchase & sales registers.
• Assisting in finalization of accounts and audit support.
• Preparation of financial statements and MIS reports.
• Handling statutory compliance and documentation.
• Coordination with clients and internal departments for accounting data.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ability to work with Tally, Tally ERP and Excel and MS Office
• Knowledge of relevant tax regulations, statutory compliance, and audit processes.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; qualified certification (e.g., CA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• 2- 3 years experience as an accountant working in a CA firm or in the accounts team is a must.
