Role Description The Overman role is a full-time, on-site position based at the Suliayari coal operations in Singrauli. The Overman is responsible for supervising day-to-day underground and/or open-cast mining activities, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining strict safety and environmental standards. Typical duties include coordinating shifts, monitoring work areas, enforcing statutory mine safety regulations, and ensuring that equipment and resources are utilized efficiently.



The role involves close collaboration with mining engineers, survey and geology teams, and safety personnel to support mine planning, ventilation, and hazard control. Accurate record-keeping, shift reporting, and participation in inspections and audits are also key components of this position.
