ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a dedicated Australian Accountant – Accounting & Taxation to join our team in Anand. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in Australian accounting and taxation, with a good understanding of Australian tax compliance, tax return preparation, and accounting processes.

Key responsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping• Handle day-to-day Australian bookkeeping and accounting activities.
• Perform bank, balance sheet, and other account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end accounting, reporting, and financial statement preparation.
• Prepare and review BAS, GST, and IAS.
• Process payroll and manage Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.

Taxation• Prepare Australian tax returns and supporting tax workpapers for individuals, companies, and trusts.




• Assist with the preparation and review of income tax returns in accordance with Australian tax requirements.
• Calculate taxable income and assist with tax adjustments and reconciliations.
• Understand and apply relevant Australian tax rules and compliance requirements.
• Assist with GST and other applicable tax compliance matters.
• Review financial records and supporting documents to ensure the accuracy of tax return information.
• Identify discrepancies, missing information, and potential tax adjustments.
• Meet tax lodgment deadlines and maintain proper documentation for compliance purposes.

Client & Team Collaboration • Communicate effectively with Australian team members and clients when required.
• Clarify missing information and resolve accounting or taxation queries.
• Work independently after understanding the firm's processes and procedures.

Required Skill & experience • 1–2+ years of practical experience in Australian accounting and taxation.
