PROGRAM MANAGER

Planet Water Foundation (PWF) is an NGO devoted to providing access to protected drinking water to impoverished communities.

Through the installation of our community-based water filtration systems, handwashing infrastructure, and the implementation of hygiene education programs, we direct our attention to two critical areas: supporting schools, children, and local communities in the Asia-Pacific and Latin America regions, as well as the provision of safe drinking water in the aftermath of natural disasters worldwide. Since 2009, Planet Water has deployed more than 2,500 projects that provide clean water access to more than five million people across 34 countries.

PWF is looking for applicants to fill the position of Program Manager.

The Program Manager will will have the following primary responsibilities:
• Project Deployments: Manage the construction and installation of water filtration systems in schools and community settings.
• Training & Support: Acquire installation, operating,



and maintenance knowledge of PWF’s water filtration systems and provide training and support to recipient beneficiaries.
• Sustainability: Monitor the ongoing condition of projects after deployment and define and facilitate appropriate corrective actions to assure sustainability.
• Programs: Support the organization's in-country program / project activities.

Essential requirements for this position are as follows:
• University graduate with at least 5 years of related working experience.
• Aptitude and desire to direct and be involved in mechanical and construction related work.
• Ability and desire to work and travel to project locations across India (approximately 50%) with occasional international travel.
• Complete fluency in both English as a mandatory requirement.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Computer literate including proficiency with Microsoft Office programs – Word, Excel,
